Parent Center

The 49th Street School Parent Center is designed to help parents become more involved in their child's education. The parents who help in parent center firmly believe that their involvement in their child's education will help improve their child's academic growth. Through their involvement, the parents believe that they can help the teacher with the preparation of teaching materials and instructional supplies thereby allowing the teachers to focus on instruction.

The parents believe that their involvement in school activities provides both the parents and students with a sense of pride. They feel that the Parent Center provides them with a place where they feel welcome, and they can share their problems with others in the community.
