Assembly/Line-up Area

  • Keep backpacks and body parts to yourself.
  • Keep equipment off the yard.
  • Stand in line and wait for your teacher.
  • Stay in your line.
  • Arrive on time.
  • Drink water and use the restroom before the bell rings.
  • Listen to adults.
  • Talk quietly.
  • Provide enough space for you and your classmates.
  • Keep your hands and body parts to yourself.

Playground

  • Stay in assigned area.
  • Walk to and from playground area.
  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
  • Use play equipment appropriately
  • Be aware of activities/games around you.
  • Be careful of poles on the yard.
  • Keep out of trees.
  • Bring all equipment needed to the yard.
  • Use restroom and get water before the bell rings.
  • Play only in assigned areas.
  • Walk to line up area immediately when the bell rings.
  • Line up quietly daily.
  • Ball monitor holds ball.
  • Share equipment and take turns.
  • Play fairly by following the rules of the game.
  • Include everyone.
  • Use kind words and actions.
  • Listen to adults.

Restrooms

  • Flush toilet after use.
  • Keep feet on the floor.
  • Wash your hands.
  • Put paper towels in the trash can.
  • Keep water in the sink when washing your hands.
  • Use the bathroom and then leave promptly.
  • Put paper towels in trash cans.
  • Keep the restroom clean.
  • Conserve supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, water and soap).
  • Give people privacy.
  • Use quiet voices.
  • Knock on stall door before entering.
  • Throw all trash in the trash can.

PassingAreas/Hallways/Stairways

  • Walk at all times.
  • Walk up and down stairs holding the handrail one step at a time.
  • Watch for opening doors and pay attention to what is in front of you.
  • Stay out of the hallways unless you need to be there.
  • Walk directly to your destination.
  • Travel in pairs and use a hall pass.
  • Allow other classes to pass.
  • Keep hands off the walls and off student work.
  • Use quiet voices—other classes are working.
  • Keep hallway and stairway floors and walls clean.

Cafeteria

  • Hold tray with both hands.
  • Keep food and drinks on your own tray.
  • Sit with feet on floor, bottom on the bench, and facing the table.
  • Eat your own food.
  • Get all utensils, milk, fruit, etc. when first going through line.
  • Clean up your area and throw away your trash.
  • Keep your food on your tray.

 

  • Allow anyone to sit next to you.
  • Use quiet voices.
  • Thank cafeteria workers for your lunch.
  • Follow directions of all staff/adults.

Auditorium

  • Walk when entering and exiting.
  • Keep hands on your lap and feet on the floor.
  • Sit quietly.
  • Put personal belongings away.
  • Follow directions of all staff/adults.
  • Stay seated.
  • Pay attention during the entire presentation.
  • SLANT--
    • Sit up in your seat.
    • Listen to the speaker.
    • Ask questions.
    • Nod your head.
    • Track the speaker with your eyes.

Library

  • Walk at all times.
  • Work and read quietly.
  • Use all materials appropriately.
  • Push in your chair.
  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

 

  • Handle books with care.
  • Have clean hands when handling books.
  • Keep books clean, dry, and in a safe place.
  • Return books on time.F
